Illawarra Live Steamers grounds are available for hire during the year. Christmas is the busiest period with groups hiring the grounds for Christmas Parties.
Hiring of the Grounds includes: Running of the trains for 2½ hours, use of the Club grounds, BBQs, picnic tables and toilets.
Our rates for the 2020 Calendar Year are as follows:
Minimum Booking fee includes up to 100 people - $900
Cost per person to attend over 100 people - $9 per head. Max 450 people.
Cost per extra half hour of train rides - $100
Extra Time in Grounds at $50 per half hour (no trains)
Cost per power outlet (Urn, Fridge, Jumping Castle) - $20
Covered outdoor area with 2 gas fired BBQ's - $50 per plate plus $100 cleaning bond, refundable if you clean the BBQ plates and area.
Use of Big Blue Garbage Bin - $50
NOTE: if this option is not selected, there is no garbage service onsite and all
garbage must be removed buy the hirer.

Safety regulation require EVERYONE riding the trains must wear enclosed footwear. Persons in bare feet, thongs, sandals or open toe footwear will NOT be permitted on the train.
Please note that for safety reasons and the comfort of others, ball games are not allowed.
